Wells Riley is a web designer.

So, what does that mean exactly?

It means he knows how you think and how your customers expect something to work.

It means he won't make your logo bigger, but instead make your site a place for your customers to interact with you in meaningful ways.

It means he doesn't make websites in Flash, because years of experience tells him it just doesn't work. Do you want your website to suck? He doesn't.

It means he won't build your "web 2.0" site because he doesn't follow kitschy trends – he has a distinctive style all his own. When's the last time you saw a Mac OS 7 styled website? That's what I thought.

It means he composes form and function in perfect harmony, because people apparently love beautiful things that work.

It means he's not some amateur who designs fake logos and websites for fake companies to appear experienced. Wells exclusively works with real people, on real projects, that matter.

So... what did you think a web designer was?
